Unavowed is a Sci-Fi Paranormal Investigation that's probably one of the better modern point and click games I've played! But at the end of your game, when you reunite with the spirit that took you for a joyride, you do get to hear the character’s voice. It doesn’t seem to have a lot of impact on the game, even in places where you’d assume the dialogue would change a bit more. I recommend female over male because I just like the model for her better. I haven’t tried the bartender or finished yet with the actor, but it seems to be much more fitting and I believe it is the only one required for an achievement. It really is a great game in its genre, and I recommend playing through the female cop origin first. It might be chosen because it is a text-based silent protagonist (the other characters are voiced), but it is still such a quality of life improvement I wish almost all point and click games did it, at least anyone that mix action themes and puzzle solving. This is a huge help and time saver, so you don’t have to click on everything and then decide if you want to look, pick up, or interact with it, as is seen in a lot of similar games. Meaning you only have to click on stuff to interact with it or zoom in on it in the case of pictures and similar. You don’t have to click on stuff to look at it. Usually if you are stuck, it is because talking to one person often unlocks dialogue with someone you have already talked to. They have done a great job playtesting this, so most players will be able to solve everything. Secondly, the game is much more logical than many others in the genre. This is due to some design choices, first of the game is “mission-based” so each puzzle has a very limited space for you to search for solutions AND you are not picking up a lot of stuff that you won’t need until the end of the game. Accessible:As mentioned, the game is much more accessible that many Point and Click adventure games.
